About the event
The Columbia, South Coast 2 Valley, and Western RENs are partnering with Bright Morning to offer the next sequence in their Equity Collection, the Coaching for Equity Book Masterclass. The RENs work to establish and maintain systems of support for all educators but in particular educators of color and those from a diverse background.
In this workshop, participants will learn to pursue a more just, equitable school system using the tools of Transformational Coaching from Elena Aguilar's best-selling books, The Art of Coaching and Coaching for Equity.
Participants will:
- Ground in the identities and beliefs with which they lead
- Learn new strategies to compassionately interrupt inequities
- Identify ways to explore and shift beliefs in a coaching conversation
- Deepen their will and commitment to interrupt and build their resilience to do so
