Tribal History, Shared History Design and Implementation Projects

We invite educators from the CREN region to engage in a responsive, in person, place-based workshop series. The series will consist of two in person days and one virtual meeting. Sessions will include planning time and support, and space for reflection and feedback.

The Educator Advancement Council’s (EAC) Tribal Nations Educator Collaborative is partnering with Columbia Regional Educator Network (CREN) to create and pilot a regional professional development training to support, develop and grow staff and educators' abilities to support student success through collaboration, learning and reflection on their own cultural responsiveness and implementation practices around Tribal History/Shared History.


We invite educators from the CREN region to engage in a responsive, in person, place-based workshop series. The series will consist of:

  • Two in person days and one virtual meeting.

  • Sessions will include planning time and support, and space for reflection and feedback. 


This will be a series spanning March 15, 2024 – May 3, 2024.

  • The series will kick off with an all day in person meeting on March 15, 2024 at the Readiness Center in The Dalles.

  • This will be followed by a virtual checkpoint after school hours (you will be compensated for this time).

  • The series will conclude with an in person all day meeting on May 3, 2024 at the Readiness Center in The Dalles.


Participants will be provided: PDU, mileage reimbursement, meals, and sub coverage or paid a stipend for non-contract time.
