Inclusive Practices Site Lead

Make an Impact Where It Matters Most: Become an Inclusive Practices Site Lead
Drive meaningful, lasting change for LGBTQ+ youth and educators directly within your school community.
For too long, vital LGBTQ+ youth events and educator learning opportunities have existed outside the normal school day, leaving students and teachers isolated. As an Inclusive Practices Site Lead, you will serve as the essential link that embeds inclusive, affirming support into the daily fabric of your school.
What You Will Do
As a Site Lead, you will act as a champion for inclusivity, resources, and community building within your building:
Build & Support Community
Develop meaningful relationships with students, families, and staff. Serve as the trusted, go-to contact for LGBTQ+ support and local referrals.
Collaborate & Reflect:
Connect quarterly with grant managers and join a collaborative Community of Practice 4–5 times a year to share tools and problem-solve.
Engage Youth & Families
Lead student outreach and partner with your school to host 2–3 welcoming, affirming family/youth events each year (or enhance existing calendar events).
Grow Capacity (Years 2–3):
Facilitate 1–2 mini professional learning sessions for your school staff to build long-term building capacity.
Equip Your Colleagues:
Distribute essential safe-space materials, books, Pride gear, and lesson resources to fellow staff. Model inclusive practices in your daily work.
